What this site is
SeedStarterTrays is an independent guide that helps home gardeners choose seed starter trays and the gear that goes with them: domes, heat mats, lights and soil. We explain what to look for so you can compare options with confidence.
How we make money
This site is supported by affiliate links. When you click a link and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That helps keep the guides free. You can read the full details on our affiliate disclosure page.
How we write our guides
- We explain features and trade-offs in plain language.
- We group recommendations by type so you can choose what matches your plants and space.
- We send you to the retailer to check current prices, sizes and customer reviews, since those change often.
A note on gardening advice
Gardening results depend on your climate, your seeds and your space. The information here is general. For timing and local conditions, your regional cooperative extension service is a good source.
